Re: WiDi beef - why is this such a hassle, Intel?

As you may know the system must comply with all the requirements from Intel® which you can find from the links below. If your system does not meet the requirements unfortunately the Intel® Wireless Display will not work.

The drivers and software must be installed in the correct order as per article below.

Systems with first generation Intel® Core processors and Intel® 5 Series chipsets will only work with Intel® WiDi software version 3.0 or lower.

 

For the systems that did not come with this software preinstalled, Intel® WiDi may or may not work due to driver customization from the manufacturer.
