Hi Intel_Jesus,
I'm using Linux 64bits. I installed the new IDE and I did the firmware upgrade as per Getting Started... no issues and everything went just fine (firmware upgrade succesfull). However when I tried to upload Blink, my Galileo is not doing anything and the Arduino has no errors and displays transfer Complete. The only thing I noticed in my Terminal, when I did for the first time the compilation, there are some installation happening, there are a line that said something about unable to read one of the following files:
"/home/myhost/Public/arduino-1.5.3/hardware/tools/sysroots/x86_64-pokysdk-linux/usr/share/automake-1.12/tap-driver.pl"
"/home/myhost/Public/arduino-1.5.3/hardware/tools/sysroots/x86_64-pokysdk-linux/usr/share/automake-1.12/tap-driver.sh"
I can't recall exactly the extension, but it's one of the above. However still the Arduino software compiles and perform transference without errors.
Have you tried the new IDE with Ubuntu 12.04? I will try using Windows tonight however I wonder if you can recommend some extra steps.
thanks
Keiner
